October 1st begins Breast Cancer Awareness Month…. something My Favorite Things (www.mftstamps.com) takes seriously!  For every set of Think Pink that is purchased, 50% of the retail proceeds  will be going directly to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation.

I, personally, have been touched by breast cancer in a big way.  I lost my mom to the disease in 1992.  Since then, 5 of her 6 sisters have or are battling the disease (and doing quite well, I might add!). 

I made these simple little 3 x 3’s to remind the women in my life to get checked.   I will make at least 20 of these and send them or hand them out during this month.   I’ll even get my own mammogram done this month!   It’s time for me, is it time for you?  Please get checked!
