Howdy!  Just….HOWDY!  I realize I haven’t updated in nearly a month, but there has been alot of commotion going on in the household and I’ve not been feeling too good.    I won’t bore you with details, but things are looking much brighter this week than they have been!   I truly appreciate the concern of my friends as I went absent for this time.   Without the love and caring of you all, I don’t know where I’d be!  GBTG!

Ok, so i felt like stamping this morning and really wanted to send a special “Howdy” to someone near and dear to me.   I am just in love with these boots and hat from Hambo Stamps (www.hambostamps.com).   I always find it soothing to just color something when I’m not feeling creative and Hambo Stamps are perfect for coloring.   I think I’ve said that before, but it bears repeating :).   I grabbed my SU! Outlaw papers for inspiration with the colors and just messed around until this came out.

 Birthdays happen…. and a bunch of them seem to hit me all during this time of year.  My youngest is turning 13 on Sunday.   I will have 3 teenagers in my house for a couple weeks, then my 2nd son will be turning 20!  Then there’s my birthday, my hubby’s birthday, my MIL’s birthday…. and the list goes on.    We have 10 birthdays/anniversaries in a span of 6 weeks!   Oy!  

This one is for my niece, Samantha.  She’s a dancer/photographer.   I used this adorable dancing hippo and sentiment from Hambo Stamps (www.hambostamps.com).   I made my own DP using copic markers (except for the black strip.. that’s an old piece that’s been hanging around so long I had to give it it’s chance :).
