punch-a-bunch-box.JPG Ok, I have a confession to make.  I said I wasn’t going to do any challenges this week due to my busy schedule, but I needed this project done this morning and I didn’t have a clue what colors to use, so I snuck in a challenge :).

Today’s Color Challenge is to use Wild Wasabi, Purely Pomegranate and So Saffron.  I’m loving this combo!  It has a springy feel to it… which is perfect for my Punch a Bunch flowers.

Maybe I need to make a second confession.  When I first saw this Punch a Bunch set from My Favorite Things (www.mftstamps.com), I was scared of it.  I don’t own any scallop punches and it first appears that you NEED them, but you really don’t!   I’ve been using my Cricut to make the ovals and the sentiments can be manipulated to fit circle punches as well :).  Such a versatile little set!

I wanted to make a box (see this post for instructions)..  I intend to fill it with thank you cards (it will fit up to six cards) and send it off to a friend who has been ubber generous to me.

Here’s the deets:

Stamps:  Punch A Bunch and Essential Sentiments from My Favorite Things

Colors: Wild Wasabi, Purely Pomegranate, So Saffron, GP White, Certainly Celery Designer DP

Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, Wild Wasabi, So Saffron, Purely Pomegranate

Accessories: Brads, ribbon, dimensionals, Cricut (ovals), black art pen for faux stitches

TFL!~ and have a blessed day!

Very cute box and I agree, the colour combo is wonderful. I’ve seen some cute cards with this set….going to be hard to resist!! May have to use this for year end teacher gifts as our school is splitting due to a new one being built in the area (darn school board!!) and some amazing ladies who have taught both kids won’t be at our school any more.

You have no idea how long I have been looking for a box that holds A2 sized cards! You rock, Holly. I was asked to make sets of cards for the silent auction for the PTA and I simply could not figure it out on my own!! LOL!!

This box is darling, BTW!

Thank you!!!
