float-my-boat.jpg  Good afternoon!  I’m a wee late getting to the sketch challenge today.  I apologize, but hey, we aren’t under any time restraints, so we’re all good!

We’re going to square it up this week with this sketch:

thsc7.JPG   Feel free to change the circle to an oval or a square or whatever you want.  There are no wrong cards!  Use keyword THSC7 if you’re posting to Splitcoaststampers.com.  Also, if you link back here, I will see it quicker :)

We’re going to make this a dual challenge if you’re up to it!   I made my striped ‘designer paper’ using my copic markers.  You challenge is to make YOUR own dp, using whatever method you want!

I dug out my Boatloads of Love set that hasn’t seen ink in quite a while.  I’m always seeing really darling cards with this set, but it never comes to mind until I see one.  Well, today I was cleaning off my shelf and low and behold there was Boatloads!   It’s like meeting an old friend again that you haven’t seen in awhile ;).

Here’s the deets on mine:

Stamps: Boatloads of Love by Stampin’ Up!

Colors: Green Galore, GP White, Brilliant Blue, Real Red

Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, Copics, white gel pen

Accessories: brads, ribbon, dimensionals, scallop punches, circles (Cricut), ruler (for DP), scissors

TFL! …. Now go play! :)

This is my first time trying one of your challenges. I think it’s missing ’something’ - but I gave it a go! You can find it on SCS here….

Here’s mine, Holly! I uploaded it to SCS this morning because some friends and I are doing our own Snowed In Virtual Stamp Weekend, but I completely forgot to mention that I used your sketch! I did eliminate the little piece on the top left though, and just stamped my sentiment directly on the larger piece!

So cute Holly! Boatloads of Love gets a lot of use at my house….I’m sure people are sick of seeing my cards with it. I just LOVE it though!
This layout is FAB! I giggled when I read that you were apologizing for getting the sketch up late….I’ve been trying to catch up on your sketches for the past week or so. Can’t wait to do this one too! I’m determined to get them done!
Have a fabulous weekend!

I loved this sketch and the card created by Holly. Here is the Easter card I made for my husband. I used Jolee’s dimensional stickers. I’ll be using this sketch for several other cards I will be creating. THANKS!
