~Let’s Dish some Dirt!~

dishing-dirt.jpg Let’s!  Here’s the dirt here…. DH is going back to work on Monday!!!!!  Woohoo!!!  All of your prayers and thoughts have really helped.  I can’t thank you all enough.   As much as I’ve complained about him being around all the time, but I’m so going to miss him!  Yeah,  I actually said that.  LOL

I needed to make a sample for the new “Can you dig it?” set from My Favorite Things (www.mftstamps.com).  This new set is packed with fun!!  I can’t wait to make another one with it.  It has so many different elements…. you really should check it out!

I made my own DP again.  The Basic Gray layer is striped with a black copic.  The smaller Brilliant Blue mat is dotted with a gel pen to match her dress.  Her little spade is cut out and popped on dimensionals.

Here’s my deets:

Stamps: Can You Dig It by My Favorite Things

Colors: Brilliant Blue, Basic Gray, Basic Black, GP White

Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, copics, white gel pen

Accessories: brads, ribbon, dimensionals. scallop circle punch, ruler

    Congrats to you and your husband, Holly. I KNOW what a big relief that is! Been there myself in the last couple of years.
    Your card is just great! I love that you used the bright blue and gray! And your layout is fantastic!!

    I love the way you make your own dp!!
    I love the stripes with this!! (I never would have pulled them out ot go with this–but it would be my loss–because it ROCKS)
    I think this is beautiful–with out being frilly.
