Well, tomorrow is the big day! Our gathering starts at 10:00am! I’m about 99% done with my projects, etc. and thought I would share a few things with you.
The former dirty girls (there are four of us attending) are each doing a product demonstration. Mine will be on the uses of alcohol inks. Here is my sample card using a background created with alcohol inks…
I will be posting a tutorial on my blog next week to show how this background was made. I used some of my left over background to paper piece the vase. It (the background) has a great textured feel. I used masking tape, mesh and white glue to give it that texture.
Here’s the deets on this one:
Stamps: Vases in Vogue (SU!) and sentiment (Rosie’s Roadshow)
Colors: Basic Black, Certainly Celery, Real Red
Ink: Ranger Alcohol Inks, Brilliance Graphite Black, copics
Accessories: brads, ribbon, ribbon punch, dimensionals, cuttlebug

Also, here are my 3D and Card front swaps!
For my 3D swaps, I made mini boxes and cards to promote breast cancer awareness. Each 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 inch box contains 3 mini reminder cards and envelopes.
Here’s the deets:
Stamps: Think pink by My Favorite Things (www.mftstamps.com)
Colors: Basic Black, Pretty in Pink, GP White, Regal Rose
Ink: Brilliance Graphite black, copics
Accessories: brads, cuttlebug ribbon die, dimensionals, cuttlebug EF
and for my card fronts:
Obviously, I am stuck on the black, red, green combination lately! I just think these colors look so elegant together.
Here’s the deets:
Stamps: Sweet Serendipity (sentiment); Noteworthy (fourish); Wild Rose DD (Rosebud) and mini water colors (leaves); Floral (BG)
Colors: Basic Black, Real Red, GP White
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, Real Red, Wild Wasabi
Accessories: brads, word window punch, ribbon, scallop punches, dimensionals
Well, that’s it for now. I will be sharing much more after the gathering tomorrow!
TFL!~ and have a blessed day!
