sc178-orange-passion-wish.jpg  Good morning, Ya’ll.

Today’s sketch challenge was the perfect chance for me to try out these colors.  I have been seeing alot of pink/orange combinations in advertising and really dig it!

I decided to use the tilted image to make a window for my card.  The image is stamped and colored with copics.  The background is cuttlebugged in non other than swiss dots.   I know, I really need to put that folder to rest! The window is on dimensionals, don’tcha know! :).  Shhhhh, don’t tell, but this is for a very special SCS birthday coming up!

Here’s my deets:

Stamps: candle by Hambo Stamps; sentiment is handwritten

Colors: GP White, Pink Passion, Pretty in Pink, Only Orange

Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, Copics

Accessories: brads, ribbon, dimensionals, swiss dots folder, cuttlebug, square punch, slit punch.

TFL!~ and have a blessed day!

Cute card. Lovin’ the colours and the frame for the candle is perfect. Nicely done.

I hear you on the swiss dots CB Folder – gives such wonderful texture and dresses things up so nicely. It’s addicting LOL!!

What a terrific card, Holly. Your colouring and the colour combination are just yummy. I used to loath orange and pink together, but now I just think it looks great!

I love this card. I was wondering how you did the sqare frame. What size punch did you use and did you also punch the center part or use a craft knife to cut out? With the thicker sides, it could be used for a number of things. I check daily to see what you have created. Also, you use alot of circle punches, which size are your favorites to use with the designer lable punch?
    Thanks,
    Susan
