~Americana Trio~

Today’s Limited Supply Challenge was to make a trio of cards, using the same stamps sets, sentiment set, colors, etc.. all with different layouts. I really felt like doing some ‘americana’ colored/theme cards, so here you go. I may have pushed the limits of ‘limited’ a bit, but that was not mentioned in the challenge. The funny part is, I made all three cards and don’t really love any of them. I do love the colors.. just not thrilled with my outcome.
Probably because I’m not feeling up to par this morning. For some reason that happens every so often when I eat shrimp or other seafood for dinner. I wake up the next day with a rash and a headache. Guess what? We went to Red Lobster for dinner last night and I of course, ate SHRIMP. I’m an idiot. Should have known better.
Anywho, for better or worse, I’m posting these. The one in the middle is going to be today’s sketch challenge….. here it is:

Here’s the deets on my cards:
Stamps: Verve Visual Polka Stars and Starlight Starbright Remix (sentiments)
Colors: Real Red, Buckaroo Blue, Very Vanilla, MM DPs
Ink: Real Red, Buckaroo Blue
Accessories: HPH brads, ribbon slide and frame, ribbon, dimensionals, various scallop punches, slit punch, scissors.

I am always amazed when someone makes beautiful cards, great colors and combinations and then says they aren’t thrilled with them. I think they are wonderful.

Sorry you are not feeling up to par. But for Red Lobster & Shrimp–it might have been worth it. (easy for ME to say!)

I think they are wonderful. Like you, I really like red, white and blue patriotic themes and these are just great!!!

Well I absolutely love them! The colors, the stars, the layouts, the cuttlebug, etc, etc, etc. What’s not to love here.
