~Knotty Smiles~

Goodmorning! I’m beginning to think that the person who hid my swiss dots on me has also sucked out my creativity. I had a heck of a time doing today’s Limited Supply Challenge. I probably shouldn’t even call this limited, but for me it is.
Ok, so I’m loving the colors I used and the ‘concept’, but the final outcome….eh, not so much. I don’t usually use so much ‘white space’, but I wanted to try. This would have pleased me a whole lot more if i owned the SU! scallop punch. The marvy scallop punch just doesn’t work as well with So Many Scallops. Ok, enough of my complaining..lol.
My ‘Knots’ are pretty simple, but I gussied them up a little with the wee watercolor leaves. Hey, this is almost a SUO card!
For those of you waiting on a sketch challenge this week, it will be a little late. I have to get to an appointment early, but I promise to post by early afternoon. Please check back!
Here’s my deets:
Stamps: So Many Scallops, Wee Watercolors, Small Sayings (all SU!)
Colors: GP White, Pink Passion, Yo Yo Yellow
Ink: Pink Passion, Green Galore
Accessories: brads, ribbon, dimensionals, scallop punch, oval punch, circle punch, designer label punch.
TFL!~ and have a blessed day.
Love the knots on the stems! Great way to use that ribbon. 🙂
Bright and cheerful! Love it! In fact, I think I need my shades. LOL! TFS! XO, Mimi
Very cute flowers Holly. I love the stems.
I love the stem and the leaves you use. I have that little set and don’t use it all that often – great leaf to use.
Welcome to the world of white space too 🙂 I use it a lot – means I don’t have to mix too many colours together which has always been a challenge for my poor, lonely, single creative gene — goes into overload and then shuts down when here are too many colours to work with. Oh, and never mind throwing DP into the mix – think that little gene runs to the land of your Swiss Dots folder 🙂
Looking forward to seeing the sketch – can you please make it an easy one as the last two weeks on SCS have been brutal for me to wrap my mind around – so much so that I’ve skipped them both — think I heard my one creative gene talking about suicide options after seeing them – LOL
