~So Loved~
June 18th, 2008 by Holly McMillen
Today’s Sketch Challenge card is dedicated to my Granny (Alla Mae). I just found out that my Granny is moving from Colorado (where she lives with my aunties), to Maryland (to live with my cousin). Although it’s a scary thing… moving a 92 yr old away from her home, it’s a great thing for me as she will be MUCH closer to me.
Here’s what i did for this card. First mat (Certainly celery) was aged with a little Tim Holtz Tea Bag distressing ink. Second layer (Eggplant) was stamped with Hero Arts French Script. Main panel – image stamped on Memory Box DP twice and the flowers buds were cut and mounted on the first with dimensionals. I’m really diggin this card. Can’t wait to send it off to my Granny!
Here are the deets:
Stamps: Roses by Anita’s; French Script by Hero Arts; Sentiment from So Very (SU!)
Colors: Basic Black, Certainly Celery, Elegant Eggplant, Ruby Red, Memory Box Dps
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, copics
Accessories: brads, ribbon, dimensionals, scissors. (I challenged myself again to NOT use scallops!)
TFL!~ and have a blessed day!
