well-spent-thanks.jpg   Happy Monday, Ya’ll

Today’s Technique Lover’s Challenge was to use reinkers/ink pads to color your image.  I must admit, I’ve only tried this once before and I need a tutorial or something because it just looks wrong to me.   Although, I did use watercolor paper and I kinda like the way it looks, I had to put a bit of glitter glue in the middle of the flower as it was a mess. LOL  I duplicated the glitter glue on the butterfly’s wings.

Where have I been, you ask.   I took the weekend ‘off’, to get my affairs in order.   Life has thrown us a few curveballs lately and I was trying to juggle them…. leading to a near breakdown, but I got it under control and I’m just giving those curveballs to my Lord and Savior.  They’ll know what to do with ‘em ;)

Here’s my deets:

Stamps: Time Well Spent, make it count (both SU!)

Colors: Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose, Basic Gray Blush DP

Ink:  Brilliance Graphite Black, Regal Rose, Chocolate Chip, Rose Red,

Accessories: ribbon, HPH clip, scissors, paintbrush, slit punch, glitter glue

TFL!~ and have a blessed day!

Great card Holly!! You could color an image with Crayolas & I would still “ooh” & “aah” over it!!! Sorry to hear things are a bit yucky for you, I’m a great listener if you ever need to “chat” :)

I love the way this came out. I do a lot of my coloring this way, mostly using the ink pad for coloring as you have more control over the color than you do with a reinker.
