the-greens.jpg  Good morning girls!

I’ve got the greens, today (as opposed to the blues!).   I was thinking about my future with Stampin’ Up! this morning and getting a little melancholy for some of my older sets.   Vases in Vogue has always been a favorite.. I’ll never let it go,  but the first weekend in August, I’m having a garage sale and will be letting alot of sets go :(.

Today’s Ways to Use It Challenge is to use scoring.   Hmmm… where is that scor-pal I’ve been meaning to buy?  I actually scored the piece of DP on this, but then promptly discovered you couldn’t see it!  The certainly celery mat at the bottom is scored diagonally, meeting in the middle.  Hard to see, I know.  Trust me, it’s there.. LOL

Ya know what warms my heart?  Generosity!   If you have a minute, please check out Hambo Stamps’ blog Talk To The Ham.   Monica and Tim, being the generous people they are … are donating 15% of all sales receipts for the month of July to a friend who is in need of a wheelchair van.   Please check it out and if you haven’t ordered from Hambo yet… now is the time.  🙂

Here’s my deets for today’s card:

Stamps:   Vases on Vogue by Stampin’ Up!

Colors: Old Olive, Certainly Celery, GP White, CC Designer series DP

Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, copics

Accessories: brads, ribbon, dimensionals, scoring blade, oval scallop punches

TFL!~ and have a blessed day~!

I just LOVE green so needless to say, I love this card. I saw the scoring on the green panel and on the DP after you said you’d done it. Subtle but there for a bit of texture 🙂

If you’re clearing out stamp sets, let us know which ones and for how much you are letting go as I’m sure there are some of us who wouldn’t mind checking out the deals and buying some !

Very very lovely!! Beautiful colors – I used to really not like green at all and now I love it!

    Nice NINE layers! heehee! 😉

This is a beautiful card Holly! And actually I saw the scoring on the DP before I noticed it on the solid. The whole thing is so serene!

And thank you for helping to spread the word about our fundraiser! We’re hoping it’s a big success to help that family out. 🙂

Okay, so I am totally behind on my blurfing so I just wanted to say, YOU ROCK, as always!! Love the bus card, and this one in green is awesome too!! I am sad about the retiring SU sets, but I will never sell another one again as long as I live. Even if I have to kick DH to the garage, they are staying!!LOL!!

I stop by to visit you everyday although I usually don’t comment. But I do need to say periodically that I love your cards!! I know what you mean about parting with your stamps. I am going through that right now. people want to buy my retiring sets and I keep changing my mind about which ones I can live without. I keep thinking, maybe I won’t like anything in the new catalogue, or what if I see a card I just love and bamm, I don’ have the set anymore! As I am typing I am looking up at Jessies comment where she says she’ll never sell another set ever again. hhhhmmmm, maybe I should just keep them, I could always clean out another closet! besides, who needs so many clothes anyway
