~Dropping a Line~

Today’s sketch challenge was a toughie for me…. how about you?   I guess it didn’t help that I was hell bent on using this new stamp set from Joann’s $1 spot.   The image and assembly gave me fits!   After it was all put together (quite hastily I might add as I am uber busy this morning!), I do like the final result.  I also used my new border punch from Fiskars.   I think the wavy look is perfect with this adorable fishie! 

I was visiting with Tracy (Lodichick) the other night and she had all the new Joann’s stamps… what a great selection!  Of course, I just *had* to have them, too!   They’re a new addition at Joann’s, so if you haven’t seen them already, check them out next time you’re there! 

Here’s my deets:

Stamps:  Joann’s $1 spot stamps

Colors:  Night of Navy, Certainly Celery, Bliss Blue, GP White

Ink: Brilliance graphite black, copics

Accessories: brads, ribbon, dimensionals, Fiskars border punch, scissors, bubbles EF

Awesome, Holly! Those fishies are adorable and work perfectly with today’s sketch. Love the border punch too…kinda like swirling water. Great job with every detail!

However, you have done a FABULOUS job with it!! Love the fish stamp - he is too cute! Th pun is great and the bubbles in the three squares are perfect along with the border punch. I bow in your direction oh great designer of cards ;-) Have a blessed day!

This is super cute - and you amaze me if you pulled this together quickly! Now I must head to Joann’s and check out these stamps - dollar stamps wouldn’t be bad on their own but I can rarely make it out of Joann’s with only a couple things in my cart…! (Hmm maybe for starters I shouldn’t get a CART!) LOL

I can’t believe these are $1 stamps! I was just there yesterday and didn’t see them! I’ll have to run back! I didn’t try this sketch…it looks easy, but I’ve read that it’s not! I’m scared to try it! Great card and love the ribbon!
