have-a-spooktakular-halloween.jpg   BOO!!  Hahaha!

So, we have these two little cuties that live across the alley from us.   Kade is 5 and Lily is 3.   We (the family) have adopted them as our own and I wanted to make some little gifties for them for Halloween.   I’m still working on that, but I thought today’s sketch challenge would be a perfect time to make them a Halloween card.

Kade just turned 5  a couple weeks ago and is into all things Star Wars.   He is going to be a storm  trooper for Halloween.  Lily is a little princess and of course, that is what she is going to be for Halloween.   She is so hilarious.  When we are sitting in the backyard, she will make a shrill noise (like a whistle) and my DH will yell “Who did that?!”… to which she replies “I did, I did!”… then he will whistle loud and she will yell “Who did that?!” and he will yell back “I did!”.   This goes on for the longest time!   For some reason, she has a fond attachment to my DH.   When she doesn’t see his truck parked in the back, she will ask “Where is Uncle Don?”.   She hasn’t warmed up quite like that to me yet, but I know she will eventually 🙂

Well, it looks like the sickies have left the house.   It is going to be in the upper 70’s today, so we are going to open windows and lysol the place.   Wahoo!!   Oh, and Levi’s finger is not broken, just bruised badly.   He is off to school this morning, sporting a splint and a  smile 🙂

Here are the deets on my card:

Stamps:  There She Goes Spooky Silhouettes

Colors: Neon Green (non-SU); Basic Black, Elegant Eggplant, GP White, Paper Studio DP

Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, Versafine Pumpkin Orange, white Gel pen

Accessories: brads, ribbon, slit punch, circle punch

TFL!~ and have a blessed day~!

Cute card, Holly. I’m sure the kids will love it.

Sounds like you may be able to enjoy “having” a little girl now too 🙂 I just love them when they are that young — so honest with their emotions and talking as well as fun loving and ready to give lots of love away. I’m sure you will have some flashbacks from when your boys were young too.

Glad everyone is on the mend and you will have a chance to get rid of those germs!!! Blessings and have a great day.
