christmas-tree-boxes.jpg  Happy Monday!

Oh boy has it been a ‘FUN’ morning.   I woke to my hubby coughing his lungs out.   I suspected broncitis immediately and  suggested he stay home, but he insisted on  going to work.   Then I checked out the TLC and I really wanted to try it, but the printer was out of ink.   Zeke had to be at work at 7am,  so I took off, expecting to stop at Office Depot on my way home…. but they didn’t open until 8am.  Oy!

I came home and got the other two boys off to school, then headed back to Office Depot.   Upon arriving at home, my aunts and my oldest son were heading out the door for Denver for my aunt Marci’s Chemo therapy.   I didn’t even have time to ask how to print or even get on their computer.   So, I sat down and figured it out myself.

Once I got my templates printed, I was golden,  or so I thought.   I had a brilliant idea to make one of Qbee’s boxes out of a transperancy.  It was quite a nightmare.   Everywhere I touched, I left finger prints…lol.   The red one was much easier and quicker to make!

A little fun from yesterday:

this-too-shall-pass.jpg   The Aunts came to me and asked me to make a birthday card for my Uncle Ben who turns 59 this week.   You have to understand my Uncle Ben’s twisted sense of humor to get why I made this card.  Uncle Ben can tell jokes for hours on end without cracking a smile while the rest of us are laughing out arses off.

Here are the Deets:

Stamps:  You’re on a Roll by Gina K. Designs

Colors:  Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze,  K& Co. DP

Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, Copics

Accessories:  brads, ribbon, ribbon slide, oval scallop punches, scissors, dimensionals, swiss dots EF

But that’s not all!   My aunt Marci decided she wants to make cards, too!   So last night we had a little lesson session and then she went to work on her own card.  I’m  quite impressed and I think you will be, too!

marcis-vintage-roses.jpg  Get a load of this beauty!   She did 99% of it on her own.  The only thing I helped with was a quick copic tutorial and I gave her the dimensions for the layers.   She had so much fun….. I think I will be competing for my stamping space from now on!

Deets on her card:

Stamps: Roses by Anita’s

Colors:  Maroon, Vanilla, MM DP

Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, Copics, Vintage Violet

Accessories: 1/2 pearls, MS lace punch, scissors, dimensionals, ribbon, hole punch.

TFL and have a blessed day!

Holly, I am so sorry about Don not feeling well. I have had bronchitis for 6 weeks, but have felt much much better the last two.

Your aunt’s card is awesome!!!! How fun to have another stamper in the house!

And your card for Uncle Ben is so funny. I love that designer toilet paper! LOL

The boxes are so cute! I hardly ever do a TLC because Monday is a work day for me, but you sure did a nice job on these!

And GUESS WHAT? I just found the writing your boys did on our wall!! I totally forgot to look after you left, and it was SOOOO very cool to find it yesterday. They were all so sweet. YOU, on the other hand, must have written in invisible ink!! So you know what that means???? You have to come BACK! 🙂
