christmas-lights-08-1.jpg   And so it begins……..

I had my son, Noah, take a few pictures of the house and lawn.   Christmas is coming, we can feel it in the air.   In fact, it snowed today.  Well, technically it ‘flurried’ as nothing stuck to the ground, but the flakes were flyin!

christmas-lights-08-2.jpg   I told you the house and lawn looks like a light factory puked in it, and I was not kidding.   Noah went to the electric meter and watched it go round and round and then asked me if it was suppose to go that fast! LOL

christmas-lights-08-3.jpg   My aunts are bound and determined to get the inside decorated tomorrow.   We have a tiny living room and my studio takes up half of it, but we are going to move stuff around and get the tree in there somehow.

christmas-lights-08-4.jpg   On a more serious note,  Marci is not doing too well these last few days.   She has developed a headache that nothing can touch.   We (my other aunt and I) think alot of it is stress induced.   She has been very worried as of late, and they are now telling her that she will require a medicine ‘port’  to be put into her  shoulder so they won’t have to dig for veins every time they give her chemo.

She has received over 50 cards so far and each one brings a wonderful message of hope.   They have slowed down, but she still has them lining the wall and baker’s rack in the dining area, so she can show them to anyone and everyone that comes in the door.

Keep praying, please …… we need to get her spirits up.

christmas-blessings-x-20.jpg  This is what I have been doing most of the afternoon.    One of the mom’s that received my little cousin’s birthday invite that I had made called me for some simple Christmas cards.   So I whipped up 20 of these.   It would have been quicker, but the coloring took forever and I still had to have all my layer……..but no dimensionals or ribbon or brads!

Well, I’m off to bed… imagine I’ll be back up in a few hours 🙂

Ya’ll have a great night!

TFL!~

Thanks for the pictures. Love the antlers on the stage! My long term decor plan is to get some of those for our lawn. Had to switch to LED lights this year round so blew the budget on that, but next year, if all goes well, we’ll have a few as part of our decor 🙂

Cute Christmas card. I’m sure the mom loved them!

Will send Marci a Christmas card this week so the happy mail keeps coming and will also pray for her and you as you work to keep her spirits up. (((hugs)))
