~Snowflake Illuminata~
December 8th, 2008 by Holly McMillen
This morning’s SCS challenge was to make a ”vellum” wine glass votive cover. Well, there were numerous problems with that. First, no vellum (I know.. a shame), secondly, no access to the printer and finally not much time.
So, I resolved the problem this way… I used white cardstock. I created my own pattern (which I am loving!) and it came together really quick! Now that I’ve finished it, I can think of a couple ways to improve it, but that will have to wait. I have to take Marci to Denver this morning for her chemo treatment. We leave in just a few minutes.
Although my illuminata does not fit the challenge, I am posting it here for you all to see :). I may or may not post it to splitcoasters.
Here is a closer view. A few people have mentioned the fact that my pictures are so small. I apologize for that, but that is the way wordpress is. If you want a larger view, simply click on the picture and the larger view will pop up!
A shout out now to my cousin, Monica!! Love you, girl! We’ll talk again, soon 🙂
If anyone is interested in the pattern I used, please let me know and I will post it. Ok, off to Denver!
TFL~ Peace and blessings!
Holly this is so cute, I don’t have any cardstock vellum either, love your design, can you post your pattern?
This is so cute!!! Good luck with the trip to Denver and hope Marci copes with the chemo OK!!
