merry-chrismoose.jpg  Happy Tuesday!

Can you believe I am STILL doing Christmas cards?   I have 3 cards left to make after this and then I am done.  However, my cousin called me  yesterday and wants to come over Friday for some quick lessons so she can make a few of her own.  Ha!  Quick lessons?  No such thing.   I know I will end up making them for her.   She is not the type to sit still for that long.   At least she will try.

Today’s color combo (taken with teal, riding hood red, baja breeze and white) was one that had me scratching my head for a few minutes, but when it is all said and done, I really like it!   The moose’s santa hat on my card was hand sketched, then the brim was cut from a word window punch.  I used that dang ribbon slider again.    I need some new tools! lol.

Actually, I have an order from Ellen Hutson’s  store coming  in the next few days!!  Yeah, me!   I also have a SU! order coming and finally, I have an order from a newer  company that I am really excited to work with.   You’ll have to wait and see on that one as it is a  suprise.

By the way, in case you have noticed, it is 2:30am here.   I had my litte ‘charge’ over last night and we made so many things.   A pizza box, a acetate box, a purse  and a thing she made that I couldn’t even begin to describe! LOL.   I taught her about sticky tape and acetate and scoring  (the bendy thing  a she calls it ).   We had a blast, but I was exhausted from being up since 5am to go to Denver with Marci and now at 2:30am I am  wide awake.   Go figure.

Well….  what am I waiting for?  I know, you want deets:

Stamps:  Wal*Mart Moose, sentiment is handwritten

Colors:  Taken With Teal, Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze,  GP White

Ink:  Brilliance Graphite Black, Riding Hood Red, Taken With Teal, Copics

Accessories:  brads, rhinestones, ribbon, ribbon slide punch, oval punch, scalloped oval punch, word window punch, freehand hat, small circle punch, hole punch, dimensionals, snowdots ef, slit punch.

rosalies-box-set.jpg   Rosalie’s cards are finally complete!   Do you know what that means?   I do not have to do another Christmas card until next year!!   No, wait…. lol.   I have one more to do.   I have to figure out a card for my dh.   Maybe I’ll buy him one……. 😀

Just had to edit this post to show you my completed box project.   I have made a total of 6 of these 10 card sets in the last three weeks.   Granted, the other sets were a ‘mass production’ type deal, whereas Rosalie’s cards are all individually personalized for the people she is giving them to.    If you are wondering, I charge $30 for the box sets, but because of the nature of this set, I am getting a bit more.   They are all mailable (relatively flat) cards, except for the one she is giving to her hubby.   I kept ribbons flat, used no brads (some ‘faux’ brads), a few tiny bumpy embellies and no dimensionals at all.   That was a fete in itself! LOL

Ok, I am tired of crafting for today….. time to hit the hay.   See ya’ll in the morning!

TFL!~  and have a blessed day!

Really cute card, Holly! I love the moose with his leg warmers and hat! We see lots of moose here, but none of they have the added accessories–if only they knew what they’re missing!

Love his leg warmers and the great free hand hat 🙂 No worries about the ribbon threader — love it. Great job on today’s CC. Let us know how Marci is making out after her chemo treatment yesterday (((hugs)).

I love your box design, Holly! I may have to try one for a gift to my SIL. I imagine Rosalie was thrilled with the cards!
