WT196 ~Embrace Life~

embrace-life.jpg  Good afternoon!

Wowza, it has been a long day already.   I was worried we would never get a WT challenge today, but Julia came through like a trooper and with a fun one at that.   “Half-baked” is our challenge… to use 1/2 of an image.

I just received this stamp set yesterday after nearly a year of oogling it.   I thought it would be perfect for this challenge!   I stamped the image, punched out 1/2 of it with my smallest scalloped oval punch, cut it out and mounted it on another small scallop oval punch.   The rest is pretty self explanatory.

Deets!:

Stamps:  SU!’s Embrace Life

Colors:  Kiwi Kiss, Regal Rose, GP white, Bella Rose DP

Ink:  Brilliance Graphite Black, copics

Accessories: brads, ribbon, dimensionals, scallop circle punches (small/medium); swiss dots ef

carols-box-set.jpg   This is the box set I completed this morning for my neighbor, Carol.   The box contains 12 cards and envelopes.  These cards are very basic and easy to mail because I keep the embellishments flat.

scotts-gift-card-holder-closed.jpg  My auntie came by this morning and asked me to create gift card holders for my cousin and one for each of my boys.   I had seen this bear used in this way on cards and thought it would make a cute gift card holder.   Here is the inside:

scotts-gift-card-holder-open.jpg  I used an xacto knife to free hand the wavy edge.   If you would like to check back tomorrow, I will be posting a step by step tutorial.

Ok, now off to work on more projects!

TFL!~ and have a blessed day!
