happy-valenswines-day.jpg

It’s over……..

I am done with the Christmas crafting… putting away my Christmas stamps and calling it quits.    Not that it hasn’t been a blast, but it is now  time to CELEBRATE the reason for the season and  give the studio a break from all that night and day crafting I have been doing.

I am sure I will be doing alot of crafting, what with the kids off school and the chilly weather, but I think now is the time to replenish my stock of ‘thinking of you, happy birthday, sympathy  and thank you’ cards.    And, as with this card…. I will be thinking of the next upcoming event!    I have already been asked by two moms here to do valentines for their kids.   Haven’t said yes, yet, but I am sure that is what I will be doing most of January :)

Anywho…… today’s featured stamper on SCS is Paula Tracy.    I was toying with the idea of not doing the FS challenge today as I have shopping to do this morning, but when I checked out Paula’s gallery, I saw some wonderful things.   Sooooooo…. I chose  THIScard of Paula’s to case.      I kept pretty true to her layout.   I changed the sentiment placement, different border punch, added ribbon, ixnayed the pearls and changed up color and image.

I have been wanting to use this image from Hambo Stamps ever since Monica sent it to me.   Today was the perfect opportunity as I needed a smile!

Here are my deets:

Stamps:   Hambo’ soda shop pigs and sentiment

Colors:  Chocolate chip, Regal Rose, DCWV dp

Ink:  Brilliance Graphite Black, copics

Accessories: heart brads, ribbon, dimensionals, pinked nesties, stair step punch

~ Acetate Gift Bags ~
acetate-gift-bags.jpg   Ok, so I had to include the last of my Christmas gift bags.   These little acetate bags are so easy to make and pretty quick, too.   I purchased some inexpensive lotion and body sprays to fill them and voila.. quick, easy gift.  Now I will move on to a different bag :)…  LOL

I have had several people lately tell me they cannot see the pictures on this blog as they are so small.   Please note that at anytime you can click on the pictures and a larger version will pop up!     I have had an issue over the last week with that not working on some of the pictures, but we are working on that… it seems to be a firefox (new browser) problem.

Thanks you!!

TFL~ and have a blessed day~

What a great card Holly! I agree with you, I’m ready to put away my Christmas stuff and break out the flowers! My only problem is that I haven’t even started my christmas projects lol!
