~ If you had one wish….. ~

What would it be? ~

I suppose my answer would be… I wish I could sleep through the night.    But truthfully, sleep is overrated. :)~   I get more done in the middle of the night than I do in the daylight hours.  Oh~!  Maybe I am a vampire! LOL

In a nutshell, it is 2:30am and I am wide awake.   I think it is the cold medicines, I am taking, interfering with my regular medications.   I am so like wired for sound!   Now tell me what your wish would be……

While you’re thinking on it, here is my Color Combo challenge card for today.    I have been hoarding this Mambly acetate sheet for awhile now.    I finally got up the nerve to cut into it.   It is sooooooooo pretty IRL.    I also pulled out an old MFT set that hasn’t seen ink in ages.   I really need to better organize my stamps so I remember what I have!

Stamps: My Favorite Things’ You Take the Cake

Colors/paper: Perfect Plum, Kiwi Kiss, Pink Pirouette, Mambly acetate (grid paper)

Ink: Brilliance Graphite black, copic markers

Accessories: candy dots, ribbon, dimensonals, oval punch, word window punch.

Oh, and before I forget,  there is a new challenge in town!   Jen (Miss Boo on SCS) is throwing down a CAS challenge once a week.   Today was an inspiration challenge, so I played along.

This was NOT as easy as it looks.   I wanted to get maximum impact with the lease amount of stamps.   I cut my base at the standard A2 size… then I cut a mat to 5 1/4 inches x 4 inchees   I stamped the baby feet on the white mat, a quick little embossing above them, slapped on some ribbon and a sentiment and done!   The hardest part of a CAS card for me is figuring out what NOT to put on them… kwim?

Colors:  GP White only!

Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, bashful blue, pink pirouette, yo-yo yellow

    They are both gorgous Holly. I love the soft, gentle feel of the baby one. I need to make a baby card - I might use this as inspiration!! :)

    My wish - that the bushfires in Victoria would stop and that the rain in Innisfail would stop. Natural disasters at both ends of Australia. :(
