~ What’s Up Wednesday~
February 11th, 2009 by Holly McMillen
Good morning ladies!
Today is a rather fun day for me. I get to host this week’s What’s Up Wednesday challenge in the My Favorite Things member forums on Splitcoaststampers! I hope you all will stop by to have a peek and a chat! You can find the challenge HERE.
My challenge is to use acetate in your project. I use the heck out of acetate. I use it to make bags, boxes, cards… I can’t get enough of acetate. Here are some links to acetate projects I have done on Splitcoaststampers:
Call Me
Now, I have a giggle (*snort ~ for Cindy) for ya. I was prepping my write up for this challenge when I opened the picture of the last project I did … keep in mind, I have been battling a viral flu/cold for the past several days and am taking some pretty strong medicine. Much to my suprise there is a HUGE boo boo on my project. I could not stop laughing. I have laughed myself silly over this and wanted to go ahead and share it here for all of you to see. Now.. there IS a catch. Don’t reveal what you see is my boo-boo. Instead, the first person who sends me a private message through SCS pointing out my boo boo will receive a special RAK from me.

Ahhhh, but there is more! I also did today’s sketch challenge on SCS.
Pretty straight forward card…. the flowers are all cut and popped on dimensionals. The butterfly is my newest nestie! I am love love loving these new Parisian Breeze papers from SU!, as well.
Here are the deets:

Colors: Chocolate Chip, GP White, Baja Breeze, Parisian Breeze Dps, Certainly Celery
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, copics
Accessories: 1/2 pearls, ribbon, dimensionals, Label 1 nesties, butterfly nestie, scissors

Hi Holly,
I just wanted to let you know that my blog stamp set arrived safe and sound. Thank you so much! I haven’t had a chance to play with them yet, but I will be sending you an official thank you made with my new stamps! Thank you also for the amazing card that you sent with it. I love your work, and to receive such a gorgeous card along with the stamp set made it extra special.
I saw the project that you said you were chuckling about, and I’m guessing that you’re laughing because the hearts are upside down? I don’t know if I would have even noticed if you hadn’t said to LOOK for something! Too funny, and a very cute project!
Thanks again,
Barb Bird
