~ Hoppin’ To The Classics ~

Good morning!
The design team for There She Goes wanted a challenge. Well, I offered to come up with one. I thought about it quite a bit and decided to throw out the challenge to make a card/project based on a Classic novel quote using our There She Goes stamps.

The girls were very receptive to the idea, so here we are! I was given the duty of assigning sets to the girls to use in their projects. Well wouldn’t you know, I assigned myself a very tough set! At least I thought it would be tough until I started looking at the set real close and surfing the net for quotes. Ok, so I did cheat just a wee bit and used the Piggie from You’re So Punny, but I NEEDED that pig! LOL
My card is based on Dr. Seuss’ Green Eggs and Ham. How much more classic can you get?!
I won’t go into huge detail, but I waited til the last minute to do my card and I nearly didn’t get it done. I spent the majority of the day yesterday running between doctors offices and the hospital. No worries though… with the help of my son, Noah, I got it done!

Stamps: There She Goes’ LOL Taglines and You’re So Punny
Colors: Kiwi Kiss, Regal Rose, GP White, Basic Grey dps
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, copics
Accessories: pink candy dots, ribbons, oval nesties, oval punches, dimensionals

Wow!This card is so cute!!! I love this saying!!! I remember when my son started to read this book, I was so tired of listenning the same story, so I would always say – I do not like green eggs and ham! Fabulous card, Holly!
Green eggs and ham…it’s not everyday that title pops in my head. Great memories ( I have this big smile on my face remembering reading that to my daughter). I am an “oldie” and I have enjoyed hopping with you ladies.
