Good Morning!

Well, I have been sitting on a little secret for some time now.   This month I am doing a little Guest Design work for Limelight Papercrafts!  Yup, that’s right, I am the 7th Six Chick for March :).   How cool is that?!

Mandy from Limelight contacted me last month and asked if I would do a little design work for them.   I did alot of perusing of the Limelight Papercrafts site and really loved what I saw.   Mandy carries a wide variety of goodies and she is such a sweetheart, too!

My first order of business is a sketch challenge.    Ya’ll know I love a challenge :).    In my box of goodies that Mandy sent me, there was this awesome wide (1.5″) May Arts ric rak.   Well, that is our challenge along with the sketch… to use this fabulous ribbon!  And YOU can play along, too!   There are goodies involved, girls!!   Everyone who creates a card using this sketch and posts to Mandy’s blog by Midnght March 8th will be entered into a drawing to receive 1 yard each of the four new colors of 1.5″ May Arts Ric Rac :).  Don’t forget to use KEYWORD LLPC016 to your SCS uploads!   How’s that sound?!   Excited yet??   I’m not done, but let’s look at the sketch first 🙂

Will you look at that?!   I love ribbon.. you gotta know that… and this stuff rocks!   I layered mine with a couple pieces of coordinating smaller ric rak.   I love the look.   I will definitely be going back for more of this stuff.   Oh, and I also received some super fun flock that I just *HAD* to use on this little chick.   I thought it was going to be hard to work with at first, but all I did was cover my chick with clear stickles and apply the fun flock.   It takes a few minutes to dry and voila… a fluffy little chick!!

With each and every order (regardless of amount), Limelight will be sending out a plastic Easter egg filled with goodies! They could be filled with ribbon, stickers, Cat’s Eye ink pads, small stamps, buttons, Dew Drops,  Shimmerz, and more! A few will have some “big prizes” (to be determined!) written on slips of paper! There will be no rhyme or reason to which egg goes in an order. We’ll keep it as random as humanly possible!

Now THAT is cool!   I know I am going to be placing an order.   I want an egg!!
