~ I Have A Reason To Celebrate!~

Good morning!
I am typing to you this morning from my new home! That’s right, we finally found a place of our own after 6 months of living with family. I have my own studio again and the boys have their own rooms! It is a wonderful feeling.
It took me most of the day yesterday to unpack my studio, but i managed to get the essentials unpacked and a couple of cards produced!
First, I did yesterday’s Featured Stamper challenge. My friend Stacy (TWINSHAPPY) was the featured stamper yesterday. Stacy is such a sweetheart as well as an awesome stamper. Here is my card based on hers:
I stuck pretty close to her layout… the only things I did were change the colors/image and added some corners and a layer.

Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, copics
Accessories: candy dots, ribbon, photo corner punch, scalloped circle punch, oval nesties, oval punch, dimensionals.

So, this morning I got up and checked the Technique lover’s challenge first thing. I feel like I am back in my routine! I still have alot of unpacking to do, but my stamping mojo is back!!!
Today’s TLC was to use this cool ribbon technique. We were to use a slot punch or xacto knife to create a slot, but I thought since I don’t have a slot punch, a large hole punch would work as well. Since the holes are quite big, I just covered them by inserting large fabric covered brads.
