~ For The Boys ~ A My Favorite Things Blog Hop! ~
March 31st, 2009 by Holly McMillen
Howdy!!
You know it is that time again! The April release of My Favorite Things is hitting the airways! There are some really exciting things coming this month, so hop along with us and see what is in store!
If you came to me from Chelsey’s blog, you are in the right place! If not, you may wish to start back at Kim’s blog, where all the fun began!
I am peeking a couple of sets for the boys this month. I have to tell you about them. First, we have Ben Paper Dolls. This set is just perfect for the little guys in your life. Ben can be dressed in numerous outfits as he plays dress up!
For my card, I put Ben in his Pirate Petey outfit. This little guy is just too cute!
Here are the deets:
Stamps: My Favorite Things‘ Ben Paper Dolls
Colors: Basic Black, Chocolate Chip, Creamy Caramel, Real Red, GP White
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, copics, black sharpie
Accessories: bandana fabric, buckle, oval punches, dimensionals

Next, and my favorite is Cuddle up Carter. Cuddle up Carter is a set with a mission. Patterned after our own Carole Burage’s son Carter, who is a very special young man, this set is a charity set, with $2 from each set sold over the next six months going to benefit kids with Cerebal Palsy via the non-profit Euro-Peds clinic (www.europeds.org) in Pontiac, Michigan!
I absolutely adore Carter (the stamp) and the little boy! His little froggie slippers are so adorable! It reminds me of those days long ago when my own little boys (now big young men!) would cuddle up with mom and read.
Here are my deets:
Stamps: My Favorite Things‘ Cuddle up Carter
Colors: Kiwi Kiss, Bashful Blue, GP White, Paper Studio dps
Ink; Brilliance Graphite Black, copics
Accessories: baby blue candy dots, gingham ribbon, oval punches, dimensionals
