Good Morning!!

Wow… I thought I would never wake up this morning.   I slept sooooo well last night!   I mark my calendar on these days 🙂

I have alot to share this morning.   First, I was not feeling up to par yesterday, so I didn’t do the sketch challenge on SCS.   But, when I saw the WT challenge this morning, I figured why not combine the two :).

This is made with Artful Inkables Fairy Whimsey set.   When I first saw this set, before I became an Ink girl, I knew I wanted to own it…. so when Kristin at Artful Inkables sent it to me, I was thrilled beyond belief.   Everybody needs a little whimsey :).

I did a little ‘out of the box’ thing with the image.   I (for the WT – foil), punched out MS butterflies from a sheet of foil and backed them with night of navy cardstock to give them strength.   Her wings are covered in a light layer of stickles.

And, here is a little box I created last night.

This is such an easy peasy box…. it is made mostly of Nestabilities Label 1 dies.   The ‘box’ part is simply 2 –  4 1/2″ square pieces of cardstock, scored at 1″ on all sides and formed into a box.   I shaved the inside piece  by 1/16″ inch before scoring to insure that it fit inside.

I love that the SU! curvy label punch matches the Label 1 dies perfectly!

And now on a personal note…. I have to show you my studio!    You know, for the last six months, I have been stuck in the corner of my aunts’ livingroom with barely 6″ of space.    Ninety percent of my product and such was in boxes and bins in the basement.   Well, MOST of it is out and stored away neatly in my new studio.

You can see my craigslist find armoires and my desk (actually clean!) and even my new ribbon holder that my DH just made for me.

I am so pleased with my space.    I just need to decorate the walls and it will feel like home!
