I haven’t updated in a couple days.   It has been kinda nutsy around here with the weather and I had company.   It is nice to have a quiet house again, but I sure love having extra bodies in the house…. I guess that is part of my heritage.   Growing up, we always had someone staying with us or visiting us.   Some people take in stray animals… my mom took in stray people! LOL

So today is Featured Stamper day.   Beth’s choice this week is Julie (Justwritedesigns).   Julie does beautiful work and it was kinda tough to pick something to case.   I could probably do several, but I chose these little cuties to case:

Julie’s Easter Dresses

The funny thing is, I have made one of these before.   I never posted it online as I got the pattern from a friend and didn’t think she would want me to, but in reading Julie’s write up, the pattern came from Paper Crafts Magazine.

Here is what I changed.    I changed the papers, obviously.  I used a white pinafore instead of a vellum sheet and I cuttlebugged that after placing my sentiment.   I changed up the ribbon treatment a little and changed the collars.

Since I used think designer paper for mine, I first cut the dress form from white paper, then the designer paper and attached them together to strengthen it.   You can’t see it, but I scalloped the front of the white inside sheet so it dresses it up a little when you open it up to write a sentiment.
