~ Just Hoppin’ Along ~

Woohoo!!

It is THAT time again!   The MFT girls are hopping along to share some fresh images that will be available today!    Now, if you have come to my blog from Carole’s Blog , you are on the right track!   If not, you may wish to start back at Kim’s blog to get the full show!

When my package from Kim arrived this month, I was PLEASANTLY suprised that she had included the new BC Dzyn’s set!   It is my very first set from this line and I am so in love.   When the teams split into teams, I didn’t request BC Dzyns as I only have boys, but it never occurred to me that those boys were going to bring lots of GIRLS into my life.

So, I got to thinking.   This new set, Text Ya Later, is so right up any young girl’s alley.   Why not make a message center chocked full of ways to get in touch with the girls.   So here is what I came up with…..

Inside there are three regular sized A2 cards, two mini note cards (3″ x 4″) and a little address book.

I picked some fun funky designer papers and splashed alot of color all over these girls :).

The holder is made with one 12 x 12″ sheet of cardstock.    I will be posting a brief tutorial on this in the next couple of days.

Here are my deets:

Stamps:  My Favorite Things’ BC Dzyns’ Text Ya Later

Colors: Basic Black, Summer Sun, Real Red, Pacific Point, Taken with Teal, Only Orange, Paper Studio ‘basics’ designer papers

Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, copics, Taken with Teal, Only Orange

Accessories: candy dots, brads, ribbons, primas, circle punch, designer label punch, swiss dots EF, sticky tape, dimensionals, scoring blade

Ok, so as if you haven’t seen enough, I also have a peek of the new What a Girl Wants set by Amanda Baird.

Whew!  This was fun.   Her outfit is paper pieced and I drew and cut out the street sign.    This sassy young miss is doing some SERIOUS shopping!   I see she has already been to the MFT store! 🙂
