I love to be inspired.    After all these years of stamping, it never ceases to amaze me where inspiration can come from.   The colors on the front of a magazine.   A billboard.   A child’s toy.    If you are in the ‘to be inspired’ mode, it can come from anywhere.

I guess I was definitely in the ‘to be inspired’ mode this morning.   For that matter, I have been all week.   I have completed no less than 12 projects this week, plus the challenges.   My scraps stack is overflowing, so I will have to do some ‘scraplings’ this coming week :).

Today’s Inspiration Challenge on Splitcoaststampers comes from the SKEEM site.   I was drawn to this IMAGE.     Funny thing is, I just used pinks and black yesterday, but i never tire of that combo.

My dilemma was to get light pink on dark pink.   So, to accomplish that, I stamped my baroque motifs swirl stamp in versamark on Regal Rose, then embossed it in baby pink.   It is such a light pink that it appears white against the RR, but up close in personal, you can see it is pink.

Colors: Regal Rose, Basic Black, Pretty in Pink, GP White

Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, Versamark

Accessories: black, white and pink 1/2 pearls, ribbons, hole punch, pink embossing powder, dimensionals

It is still raining (as opposed to the snow they were calling for), so I will likely spend the day up in the studio getting things organized and projects finished.
