Good morning, girls!

I want to talk about friendship today.    I am humbled by the friends that I have.   Over the last several weeks, several of my old friends and some NEW friends have come to my rescue when it comes to stamping supplies.   I am still sitting with my jaw on the floor at the generous nature of the people who surround me.   There is no need to mention names, as you all know who you are.

My gift to them is to pay their kindness forward.   A couple of us have enmassed a large quantity of cards to send to the troops.   I have been working on this box for some time now, but with the help of these generous ladies, it will finally be mailed out within the next couple of days.   It includes cards, envelopes, bubble envelopes (for those bulky cards of mine!), some postage and other goodies.   The stash is being split in two and sent to two camps, both in Iraq.

So, my Color Combination card today is a ‘thank you’ to one of my generous friends.   Without her help, I could not have completed this project.

Today’s colors, Pink Pirouette, Basic Gray and Rose Red are awesome…. however, I have no Rose Red, so I substituted with Ruby Red.   I think I came out with the same effect.

The sentiment reads:

Thus nature has no love for solitude, and always leans, as it were,

on some support, and the sweetest support is found in the most
