~ Rock On! ~

Good morning, ya’ll 🙂

I am just BASKING in sunshine this morning!   I woke up to the birds chirping outside my window…. yup, I left it open all night.   I wish you could see the gorgeous snow covered Rockies.. majestically overlooking our little valley.   It sure is a sight to see!   I will try to get a good picture of it to share in the next day or so.

I slept like a baby last night after a couple hours of icing my face.  Yup, the ache is back, but no fear, I have an appointment to get it looked at and maybe pulled on Monday.    I had an appointment for last Monday (the 20th), but had to put it off when they insisted on full payment up front.  Little setbacks… no biggie.

I find myself in ‘manic’ mode this morning.   I have been cleaning and crafting since 4am.   I already took the boys to school, gassed up the car and stopped at the bakery.   If I keep up this pace, I will crash by 2pm…lol

Ok, so on to the stamping.    I really like today’s sketch challenge.   What a great way to show off some awesome designer papers!

Today was my first chance to cut into these Washington Apple dps from Stampin’ Up!.    I LOVE the colors… very unique.   I chose my favorite Our Craft Lounge set (Star Rocks).    She brings out the teenager in me :).

This card is absolutely darling, Holly! Great use of DPs and I love the ribbon tag on the focal image. Well done!

We too are enjoying some sunshine – FINALLY!!! We hit 20C – which is 72F and thought it HOT after having highs of only 9C (50F). The cherry trees have exploded into bloom as have the magnolias and the tulips and daffodils are on their way. SO nice to see colour again! The mountains here are lovely as well – snow capped against a blue sky – can’t ask for me (other than maybe skiing on them LOL). Have a great day!
