Good morning, girls!

A few days ago, I came across the most adorable project by Stampinsusie on SCS.   You can see the little darlin’ here.   It came at a time when I had just found out that a very special young lady in my life is pregnant with her first child.   I knew immediately I would be casing Stampinsusie’s project …. something I rarely do, but this one had to be done.

Then this morning’s challenge (WT) was posted and I knew it was perfect for this challenge.   Now, the challenge is for white, white, white,(we are hoping for a boy, but I can do it in pink real easy )

You can find Stampinsusie’s directions HERE on her blog, but I changed mine up just a bit.   Mine is a little larger and since I do not have scalloped circle nesties, I punted and made a different hood.   I also changed he placement on the handle.   I didn’t have any blue buttons, either, so I made faux buttons with a 1/2″ punch.   I tied the faux buttons with baby blue embroidery floss and added a ribbon to the top with a little sentiment tag.

Colors: GP White,

Ink: Bashful Blue, copic ice blue

Accessories: scoring blade, sticky tape, SU eyelet border punch, small scallop circle punch, various circle punches, embroidery floss, word window punch, ribbon, brads, dimensionals.
