Good Morning

Oh Happy day!   I slept like a baby again, last night.   I did wake up once when I got cold because of the fan running.   I quickly shut that off and was back to slept in seconds.   I definitely feel rejuvenated this morning.   Good thing, too, as I have a busy day ahead of me.

I did rise fairly early (6:45am).    So, I thought I would start my day with the Inspiration Challenge.   I got a little chuckle when I saw what our inspiration was………KLEENEX boxes!    Now, don’t get me wrong, there are some gorgeous KLEENEX boxes out there, it just struck me as a little funny.

I can’t put my finger or browser on the exact box that inspired me… so I made my own little KLEENEX box :).   Of course, I needed a card to go along with it!

The box is really basic.   I cut a piece of heavy cardstock to 5 1/2″ square and scored at 1 3/4″ all around to form the bottom.   Then I cut a piece of cardstock 6″ square and scored at 2″ on all sides to form the top.   Before I formed the top, I cut a small oval in the top/center and covered it with a piece of acetate (with a slit in it).   I slipped three KLEENEX into the box and pulled one out through the top.   Oh, and you have to decorate the top before you form it, too    I wanted it to match my card (although the lavendars are slightly off)… so I stamped the flower all over my lid and colored around them with copics.
