Hi Girls! (Oh, and guys ;) )

Welcome to the May My Favorite Things’ Blog Hop!   If you have arrived here from Natalie’s Blog then you are at the right spot, if not, you may wish to start back Kim’s Blog at so you get the full show!

I am so excited to share these new sets with you!   Every month that I receive new stamps from Kim, I think they cannot get any cuter, but they do!!   How is that possible?! :D

First up is the new Who’s That Girl set, Girls Day In.   This set reminds me of all the things I NEED to do for myself, but rarely find time.   What girl doesn’t need to pamper herself every now and again?

For the ‘wainscoating’,  I simply drew lines on a piece of the luscious Perfect Paper Panels and highlighted the boards with a cool gray copic marker.   By the way,  have you tried the Perfect Paper Panels yet?!   I am so excited about the PPP.   The weight is so heavy that it makes my cutouts stand up perfectly!  Check ‘em out!

Here are my deets:

Stamps:  There She Goes’ Who’s That Girl Girls Day In

Colors: Ballet Blue, Garden Green, GP White, Perfect Paper Panels, MM dps

Ink: Versafine Black Onyx, Copics, White Gel Pen

Accessories: white candy dots, ribbons, dimensionals

Next up is the new MFT Presents Stephanie Fizer set, Snuggle Bunnies.   I just love Stephanie’s illustrations.   She never disappoints!

ear-for-you.jpg

These two little love bunnies are sitting on a fence gazing at a full moon.   For the stars, I dotted the ’sky’ with star dust stickles.   The ‘moon’ is cuttlebugged with the circles embossing folder to look like the surface of the moon.   The fence was created with a ruler and black sharpie and topped off with a spikey border punch.

And finally, I bring you my sample of My Favorite Things’ Birthday Flopsey.    We all know and love Flopsey, don’t we?!

ready-set-blow.jpg

I paired Flopsey with this month’s release of MFT digi papers, Stephanie Fizer’s Chocolate Kiss!   What beautiful papers they are!   Have you tried the digi papers yet?   So quick and fun, and did I mention convenient?!   You download them right to your computer and print at will.   No storing papers!!

Your cards are amazing! I have one question about the wainscotting. When you do it, what are you drawing the lines with?
The lines are so light, that it looks like you used pencil, but I didn’t know how that would work with Copics. Thanks for the inspiration!
