~ Getting Back In The Saddle ~

Good morning!

Wow, it has been nearly a week since I have been in my studio.   I have been struggling with a nasty rhinovirus.   I spend the good part of last Thursday and Friday in the hospital as I had a reaction to my meds and my throat began to swell.   Nasty!   But, I am pushing myself to feel better.

So, I decided to make the climb to my studio this morning and work on today’s Technique Lover’s Challenge.    Instead of using the paisley background stamp or papers, I used the paisley embossing folder for the cuttlebug.   I used both a white gel pen and a black sharpie to highlight areas of the embossing.

Here are the deets:

Stamps:  Stampabilites cowboy

Colors: Real Red, GP White, Basic Black

Ink: Versafine Black Onyx, copics, white gel pen, black sharpie

Accessories: white candy dots, bandanna material, jute, star punch, word window punch, scissors, dimensionals

    Great use of the EF, Holly. I would have never guessed that is how you made it. Great out of the box on the image too.

    Your work is always so lovely, your blog is a treat to visit. I hope you are feeling much better and I’m sure it was a scary thing to go through so don’t jump back too quickly - us mothers seem to always over do it and not tend to ourselves the way we should!!
