~ A Sweet Hop! ~

Good morning, girls!!

The troops are at it again 🙂    We have some new Artful Inkables sets to show off and we’re doing it “Hop” style.   If you came to my blog from Cathy’s Blog, you are in the right place!   If not, I suggest you start back at Kristin’s blog to get the whole show!

Kristen has done it again.   She has produced FOUR of the cutest sets!   I am going to show you two.   The first is Boys Will Be Boys.   I think you’ll agree, there just aren’t enough little boy sets out there, so when I saw this set, I got really excited.

all-boy.jpg

This set is packed with fun images and sentiments perfect for a young boy (or big boys that are young at heart!).   This image reminded me of a time many years ago (ahem… MANY years ago), when our yard was infested with tiny frogs.   My brothers and I would sit out in backyard in the evening and catch them and put them in a big jar.   My mom would come out and remind us that it was cruel, so we would let them go….just to do it again the next evening.

Here are my deets:

Stamps:  Artful Inkables’ Boys Will Be Boys

Colors:  Night of Navy, Very Vanilla, GP White, Paper studio dps

Ink:  Versafine Black Onyx, copics

Accessories: star brads, ribbon slider, ribbon, photo corner punch, scissors, dimensionals

Next up is the new Music A la Carte set.    This one is near and dear to my heart as I have a house full of musicians.   My 21 yr old is a guitar freak and his 14 yr old brother is following in his footsteps.   My husband plays the Accordian!   Against the law, I know…lol.

rock-my-world.jpg

I love the flourishes off this guitar image.   It reminds me of the melody that flows from the boys rooms when they are playing.   I embellished the flourish with black 1/2 pearls, then added a little guitar charm for a final touch

Here are the deets:

Stamps:   Artful Inkables’  Music A La Carte

Colors: GP White, Basic Black, Paper studio dps

Ink: Versafine Black Onyx, copics

Accessories: black 1/2 brads, ribbon, charm, silver cord, scissors, dimensionals

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Now that you’ve come this far, I have GOOD NEWS!   I am giving away blog candy!!  Yup, that’s right.   All you have to do is leave a comment on this post between now and 6pm Monday May 25th  and a random winner will be chosen to receive all FOUR of the new releases!! :
