Happy Tuesday!

It’s no secret that Twilight has become a phenom beyond our wildest imagination.    So, when the challenge was laid down to make an inspired card of what Twilight means to me, Into The Moonlight by Artful Inkables was on my desk in a flash.   Quicker than Edward can climb a tree, you might say :)

The Twilight Tuesday bunch have got to love these new sets by Artful Inkables!   They are all about the Twilighters.   Bella’s truck,  Jacob’s shape shifting alter ego,  baseball and of course the apple!

My instinct was to go with my favorite colors, too… especially since it fit these images so well.   And what would complete it better than the silver apple charm?!

Here are my deets:

Stamps:  Artful Inkables‘ Into the Moonlight and Fictionally inspired

Colors: Basic Black, Real Red, Green Galore, GP White, Basic Grey dps

Ink: Versafine Black Onyx, copics

Accessories: ribbon, silver cord, charm, EK Success border punch, dimensionals

I have to admit that I am still a little behind the eight ball on the Twilight thing.   I have finished the first book, seen the movie and am working on the second book.    I am enjoying the book way better than the movie.    My favorite character so far is Jacob.   I know, I know.. it is suppose to be Edward, but there is something so mysterious about Jacob (and I know I am about to find out!).    The concept of the books is alot of fun.   My kids keep telling me to hurry up and finish so they can talk about them, but I have precious little time to read lately…. it may take me until Christmas ~ just in time for the next movie! :)

Thanks for stopping by!   I hope you have a blessed day!    Be sure to check out the Twilight Tuesday blog for all the other Twilight inspired cards/projects!!

Great card, Holly. Perfect combo of images. I’m planning on re-reading the series this summer I enjoyed them so much the first time round. I love the second and third books — lots of Jacob in them for you :D Enjoy!

KEEP reading!!!! New Moon was by far my favorite book. I hope you end up liking it too.

This card is just amazing. I think the thing that stands out the most to me is that you used GREEN and I love it. It’s just an awesome accent to this card with the repetition of it on the stem and leaf and then again on the little accent strip. Fantastic color use!! And I love all the rich details. What a fantastic card!
