Good day, ya’ll!

I won’t use the “M” word, but a new week has begun!   Can you believe July is nearly here already!?   That’s just nuts!!    But, July brings great things!

If you haven’t heard already, there will be another Dare To Get Dirty challenge(s) coming at the end of July (23-25).   It is going to be so much fun!   I hope you all can play along.    I am hosting a challenge :).

Ok, so today’s TLC is called Faux Burnt Edges.    I followed the instructions, but mine did not come out looking like Lynn’s example.   I like it anyway.   Maybe I could have used the torn paper technique to get a better effect, but I didn’t want to, so I have what I have.

I stamped my image first and colored it.   Then I sponged on Creamy Caramel, Close to Cocoa, and Chocolate chip.   I also sponged the sentiment panel.   I drew the spear for the sentiment and used an xacto knife to fit it into the sentiment.
