Good morning, friends!

It was so wonderful to get up this morning and stamp before the boys woke up.   I grabbed my cup of coffee and headed to the studio before my eyes were fully opened.   I was on a mission, though.   Not only did I want to do the Featured Stamper challenge from yesterday (TSG’s own Joanne ~ JoJot), but I wanted to make it a double challenge and incorporate Jessica’s TSG challenge for this week…. to make a birthday card.    Fitting, I think, since There She Goes is about to celebrate it’s FIRST birthday!!

I chose THIS card of Joanne’s to case.   I changed up colors and images.  I nixed the big brads and added a few pearls.   I also added a sentiment and a photo corner.

Ever since meeting up with Sherry (BadSherry) at the Rubber Stamp show, I have been so into aging things.   Afterall, she showed me the proper technique!   I colored my images and then dirtied them up a bit to make them ”dusty roses”.

Here are my deets:

Stamps:  Roses from There She Goes‘ Roses and Chocolate; Sentiment circle from Year Round Sentiments

Colors: Soft Suede, Regal Rose, GP White, dp by Paper Studio

Ink: Versafine Black Onyx, Soft Suede, copics, white gel pen

Accessories: cream 1/2 pearls, ribbon (dirtied with soft suede ink), circle punch, Fiskars border punch, script embossing folder, photo corner, dimensionals, blending sponge, MS royal butterfly punch.
