~ OCL Spotlight Set of the Week ~

Yesterday I was surfing the Our Craft Lounge Blog and came across Kisa’s sample for this week’s Spotlight Set of the Week. Â She mentioned that the character in this set reminds her of the Vicki Lawrence character on Mama’s Family. Â Remember that show? Â I got to thinking about that character.
When I was in the working world, my office was kitty corner to a mall. Â Next to our office was a hair salon that catered to the elderly women of the area. Â Every Friday, the “blue hairs”, as we called them, would stream in to the salon to get their hair done while their hubbies sat in their cars waiting. Â Â Ahhh, the memories!
So when today’s color challenge was posted (Chocolate Chip, Kraft and Real Red), I knew I wanted to use the Shop til ya Flop set.
As you can see, I gave her blue hair :). Â This granny is packing some serious bags. Â I probably couldn’t keep up with her in the mall!
I have decided to hold on to this for a bit and send it to my MIL with a gift card near her birthday. Â My MIL (though not a blue hair), loves to shop!
