~ Inkgirls are Hoppin’! ~

Good morning, friends!

Yup, it’s that time again.   The Artful Inkables‘ Inkgirls are here to show you some goodies!   If you arrived here by way of Sherry’s blog, then you are in the right spot.   If not, you may wish to start back at Kristin’s (AI) blog to see all the sneak peeks.

I have to tell you, on Friday of this past week the temperature hit near 86 degrees.   By the following morning, we were freezing!   It didn’t make it out of the 40s all day on Saturday.   Talk about a shock to the system.   I spent the better part of Saturday with a blanket around me.   Fall is definitely in the air.

With Fall coming, my mind starts to go towards the holidays.   So, today’s sneak peek is perfect in that aspect.   It comes from the new Holiday Beavers set.   I love the images in this set.   They are whimsical and fun.   With a hit of nature, they harken to a simpiler time.

I used icicle stickles on the tree and the icicle punch.   I used glossy glaze on his buck teeth.   I used liquid pearls for snow around his feet and the tree stump.   The lights are strung on gold string and glazed with glossy glaze as well.

    Cute card. Love the sentiment :D We had the opposite temps. from you…25C (82F) plus humidity that pushed it into the 90s or so. Very strange weather for us, that’s for sure!
