~ Inspired To Stamp ~
December 5th, 2009 by Holly McMillen
Good morning, friends 🙂
Hey, does anyone know where my largest oval nestie is?! Â I searched for a good 45 minutes this morning and that little sucker is hiding on me. Â Of course, the state of my studio is pretty bad, so if I were to clean, it might just show up.
I am going to be cleaning it up soon, though. My aunt Marci is coming over to stamp with me today!  I get really excited when someone wants to stamp with me.  I am so easily amused 🙂
So today’s Inspiration challenge brought us to this site. I really wanted to create a piece of jewelry, but I don’t have the supplies and I needed a sympathy card, instead.
The sentiment and flourishes were stamped with versamark on the black, then embossed with white embossing powder. I carried over the largest flourish onto the designer paper and embossed it there, too.
Here are my deets:
Stamps:Â There She Goes’ Dream Big (flourishes), There She Goes’ Bloom (Sentiment)
Colors: GP White, Basic Black, designer paper
Ink: Versamark, Versafine Black Onyx
Accessories: Ribbon, vintage embossing folder, white embossing powder, 1/2 pearls, oval nesties, dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a blessed day 🙂

Lovely card, Holly. Great use of the flourish and the pearls are a fabulous touch. So glad to hear Marci is coming over to stamp with you today. I loved seeing her creations last year – make sure you post them again this year and wish her A Merry Christmas for me.
I’m sorry you had to make a sympathy card but it is lovely and I’m sure the recipient will be touched by it’s beauty. I hope your Aunt Marci is well and you have (or had at this point) fun stamping!
What a absolutely gorgeous card! I love the flourishes and the whole design.
This is beautiful Holly, great job!
