~ There She Goes’ ~ Fly Away With Me ~

Happy day, friends!

Can you believe it is already January 27th?!    You know what that means!!!   It’s time for the There She Goes Trendsetters to start the monthly hoppin’!

If you’ve arrived here from Gretchen’s blog, then you are in the right spot!  If not, you really should start back at The There She Goes blog so you’ll get the loot instruction!

I probably sound like a broken record, but I will say again that Jessica has truly outdone herself once again with this months sets.   Today we are showing off Aim For The Clouds.    This set took me back to my days in California.   We use to go up to Napa Valley to see the hot air balloons (oh and yes, some wine tasting!).   It is such a magnificent sight to see those huge balloons lift off and then get smaller and smaller as they rise.

I did something a little different with this image.  First, I stamped it on white and colored it with bold colors.   Then I stamped it on frosted vellum and colored the reverse side in muted colors.   I layers the two together with dimensionals between the layers.   It gives the image a frosty look.   Then I layered a frame over top.

Colors: PTI white, Bashful Blue, Real Red, Washington Apple dps, frosted vellum

Ink: Versafine Black Onyx, Copics

Accessories: ribbon, candy dots, circle punches, hole punch, border punch, swiss dots embossing folder, dimensionals
