Hi friends!

There is a mystery going on in the McMillen household.    You see, I sent my husband to the store this morning to buy some chocolates so I could make these little candy holders we’re doing for today’s Technique Lover’s Challenge.   He complied… no problem, however, when he brought them up to my studio, the bag was already opened.  Hmmmm…..

I made my little Matchbook Candy Holder (you can find the tutorial for these HERE) and stuffed ONE candy into it for prop.   Then when I was taking the picture, I used two more as additional props.   That makes three.

As I uploaded my project to the computer in another room, I noticed an increase in traffic up the stairs.   When I was through uploading and cropping my pictures, I headed back upstairs to take one more picture.   That’s where I discovered the crime scene.   The two candies I had used in my previous photo were missing!    I didn’t have time to worry about them, so I took two more out of the bag (noticing that there were now only two left IN the bag).   I took my picture and went back downstairs.

This evening after dinner, I had a hankering for a piece of chocolate.   I knew there were two left in the bag, two on the desk and one IN the candy holder that I made.   Great!   But….when I approached my desk, much to my horror, the two on my desk were missing and there was only ONE left in the bag!   Upon several minutes of grueling interrogation of the occupants of the house, I was mystified that not one person will admit to the candy snatching!   I may have to call in the CSI crew on this one.   BUT, I did get the last chocolate!
