~ Enjoy! ~

Good morning, Friends!

Pardon me while I get on my soap box for a moment, ok?   Lately, I have been extremely frustrated with people.   Not any ONE person in particular, just people in general.   Is it me or are people getting more judgmental?   Everywhere I turn, someone has an opinion to share on what another person is doing.   Having an opinion is cool.   The gossiping about it is not!   Ok, off my soapbox now.    Sorry about that, I just needed to get it off my chest.

Let’s move on to more pleasant things.   This morning’s color challenge on SCS is a toughie!   I had my brain chewing on this one all night.   Our colors are Basic Gray, Always Artichoke and Crushed Curry, with a neutral of your choice.

As a bonus (or dessert as Betty calls it!), we were encouraged to create a border with the nesties.   I kinda did that, but not sure how it will be perceived :).

For those of you who have asked, my aunt Marci is doing well.   She has had her chemo changed to every six weeks.   The length of time between is affording her more good days strung together, which is a great help to her physical AND mental well being.   Now, she does have chemo next week, so we’ll hold our breath and pray it doesn’t knock her down again.   Thanks so much for all your thoughts and prayers.   We truly appreciate it!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you have a blessed day.

Hugs,

Holly

You’ve done a great job with this tricky colour combo, Holly 😀 Lovely card. Love the nesties you used and I see you have used Sharon’s signature silk ribbon for that lovely bow. Glad to hear Marci is doing better too.

Thanks for your kind comment on my blog the other day (glad you are able to access it again too :D). It has been simply amazing to see the huge outpouring of Canadian pride and patriotism that these games have sparked. Just hope it continues! Have a great day (((hugs))).
