~ Hey Chickie! ~

Good day, Friends!

I do believe that God is smiling on us this morning.   I woke up to bright sunshine and warm temps.   It just puts a positive spin on your day when this happens.

Well, today is the last day of my youngest son’s CSAP tests.   I will be so very glad when this day is over.   My rear will be thanking me when I don’t have to sit for hours on end.    Yesterday we tried walking around a bit and it helped, but there is a Hobby Lobby and a Joann’s right THERE and it is making me crazy that I can’t shop!!

To help start my day on the right foot, I stamped!    Rox brought us a really nice sketch challenge this morning.   Since it is only 1 month until Easter, I thought it would be a good time to get started on those cards.

I was going to sew the dp panels on, but without thinking, I had adhered them to the edges and that is a no-no when sewing as the adhesive gums up the needle.   Instead, I did a little piercing.

    Darling card, Holly. Love the double layer of punched border at the bottom and the three brads in the semi circle above the bow. Great colouring too. Hope the exam went well for your son!

    What wonderful details on your card (cards I should say since I took a moment to see your older posts too. first time visitor, but sure to be a repeat visitor!). I love the colors, the coloring of the images, and all the texture! Great job! 🙂
