Happy Saturday, friends!
I was so happy to see the weekend arrive. Having this past week behind me is a blessing. Too much on my plate leave me cranky! I am looking foward to a quiet week coming up.
This morning, my aunt Marci came over to create with me. It’s so nice to see her feeling good and since the weather is perfect, it’s good for her to get out of the house, too!
I created the sketch for the current Think Ink Challenge over on the Artful Inkables blog. I had every intent to get a sample made LAST week, but it just never happened. So that is what Marci and I worked on.

I was so certain that my card needed a bow, but once I settled on the bling, the bow was not longer necessary. The grid background was an afterthought, but I think it works great.

Great sketch, Holly. Love the scoring on the BG panel of yoru card. Glad to hear Marci got to come and play too 😀
Oh Holly, this is simply lovely – it reminds me of that pretty card with the diagonal scoring that I CASEd for VSN. I just LOVE it. The flowers are colored so vibrantly. You are really rocking the scoring these days..
You know, one of Gina K’s challenges on Stamp TV (do you belong there? Anyone can join – you find it through her blog) is to creat a card with a background that has scored diamonds – you could enter this one – it’s gorgeous! Just a thought…
