~ Inside Out ~

Hi Friends!

Today has been such a gorgeous day.   I had windows open and spent a great deal of time breathing in the fresh Spring air.   Even now I have a fan on and my hair in a pony.   I am whispering, though, as Mother Nature may just throw a snowball at me.

Today’s Technique Lover’s Challenge should be a fun one for all.   Long ago, I adopted the theory that it’s all in the details.   When making a card, I don’t stop at the front.   I’ve been known to do inside and even that back, sometimes!   So the challenge is to create a card and then decorate the inside to match.

I know time is running out, but I still need about five Easter cards to mail out in like two days!   So I grabbed my There She Goes‘ Tweeterpated.

I couldn’t resist paper piecing his shell.   The designer paper, by Paper Studio, is flocked and has sparkly on it as well.

I did a little pop-up for my inside.   The egg has a brad in one side holding the pieces together and it also swing closed.

And because I  couldn’t stop there, I went ahead and lined my envelope with the same designer paper.

Here are my deets:

Stamps:  There She Goes‘ Tweeterpated

Colors: GP White, Lovely Lilac, Apricot Appeal, Certainly Celery, Paper Studio dps

Ink: Versafine Black Onyx, Certainly Celery, copics, white gel pen

Accessories: Ribbon, rhinestones, oval nesties, swiss dots, photo corner punch, border punch, scoring blade, oval punch, brad, dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by!   I hope you’ll come over to the TLC forums on SCS and join the fun!   Have a blessed day!

Hugs,

Holly

Man, I am lucky if I can even attempt a swing card. You have a swing card, a pop up and an inside/outside card that is so phenominal. You are so very talented and I am so very jealous. I can spend hours just trying to figure out one element, like making a flower. Wish I was your neighbor!

Beautiful and fun card Holly. Would you mind sharing with me how you made the inside of the card? The little tag part that is popping up your egg. Thanks.
