Good day, friends!

Well, today is the first day of Summer vacation for my boys.   It’s not even noon yet and I am ready to run away from home.   Having no car and two teenagers is not a good scenario.   I knew the phrase “I’m bored” would pop up eventually, but I didn’t anticipate it to come up in conversation YESTERDAY!!   So, I made them each a long list of chores that have to be done.    If you don’t think that made them madder than hornets, well…   A mother’s revenge … muuhahahaha.

We are having a little company tomorrow, so I need to do a bit of stamping today.    I haven’t stamped since last Tuesday, so I started out with the Technique and Color challenges to warm up my mojo.

Yesterday’s Technique challenge was to make a tent card.    I have to admit that I am not quite certain of the point of this fold.   It stands up nice and looks pretty, but there’s no way to write anything in it.   Maybe I’m missing something.

Also, today’s Color challenge colors are Barely Banana, Close to Cocoa and Garden Green.   I had to sort through scraps to come up with a piece of Garden Green, but I managed!

Accessories: Chocolate grosgrain ribbon, rhinestone swirls, nesties, swiss dots, scoring blade,dimensionals, sticky tape
